Have you ever heard about the animal shelter in Bülach “Tierheim Pfötli”? If you are living close by and if you are interested in animal welfare, you have probably heard it already and even maybe once have visited during!
Well, I did. As a crazy animal person – no, not just a cat person or a dog person- one of the first things when I started living in Rümlang was to visit the animal shelters around. Then I had the chance to visit Tierheim Pfötli some years ago during “Tage der Offenen Tür”.
Now as a pet photographer I have been volunteering in Pfötli since a while and I should say one thing: It is fascinating!! All the people working there are extremely into their job: They do everything in their power oo give the best care possible to those poor souls and create an environment for them that can be as close as possible to a real home.
I just want to say I am so happy that there are such people on this planet and I am very much grateful that they let me help those animals with my photography!
One last thing: If you haven’t visited Pfötli until now, there is a Tage der offenen Tür on 28/29 May.
