Why not? 🙂
But I should answer more clearly than that I guess!
Some days ago I was looking through the old pictures of my dog in my computer. I lost him long time ago. He was a poodle mix and with good care and a lot of love he lived 17 years.
However there is one thing I regret: He never had a good quality image that I can print in big size and hang on my wall. Yes, I made thousands of pictures of him, thousands of “snapshots” and they are cute and beautiful. As I see now the pictures I have of my cat, with the highest quality that the digital cameras can make, beautiful composition and retouched in my computer with careful color correction considerations…They cannot be compared.
I look at his beauty on my walls everyday and feel happy about it. I know those beautiful images will be hanging on my walls until the end of my life but unfortunately not of my dog.
So yes, I am telling that not because I am a pet photographer but because I adore my pets, and I want to have wonderful memories of them on my walls for years to come. And honestly, I don’t want to go through all those files in my computer just to see them on a monitor…which will be corrupted one day probably. Digital files are not forever. But that’s another post topic, right?
