I always had a passion for photography. Okay, that is a pretty boring sentence to start a post about why I chose photography as my job. Besides, I think each and every photographer has a passion for photography. Otherwise why would they become a photographer at all, right?

For me the most beautiful and most important part of photography is that it freezes time. Whenever I have a beautiful moment, like seeing my cat after months of separation or having a wonderful family party with the family members that I haven’t seen since like forever, I always wish that I could just freeze that time and we could relish that moment forever. That is exactly what photography does for me.

You capture that moment, you frame it or put it in an album according to your taste, and there you have it for years to come. For me the photographs of my loved ones are priceless! Probably one of the first things to rescue from a burning home!

The other part of the question is why I do pet photography:

I am not only doing pet photography but the reason I do also pet photography is very simple: I adore animals. They are beautiful, elegant and innocent. If you had once a pet in your life, you simply cannot do without them anymore – unless you really have to, the life conditions at that time in your life don’t allow etc. Which is really really sad!

But again, though they can never replace the pet itself, those photos help in a way. When I am not with my sweet cat, I can look at his pictures and remember how nice a feeling it is to pet him under his chin and how soft and warm his fur is…and how lucky I am to have such a wonderful cat! As all pet owners are!
